Event Location

Ludwigshafen am Rhein is the second-largest city in Rhineland-Palatinate, located directly on the Rhine River opposite Mannheim. It is globally known as the headquarters of BASF, one of the largest chemical companies in the world. Founded in 1865, the Ludwigshafen site is the largest contiguous chemical complex in the world and serves as the heart of the BASF network concept. Here, production facilities, energy flows, and logistics are intelligently interconnected to utilize resources efficiently. The infrastructure is impressive, featuring 2,850 km of pipelines, 230 km of railways, and 106 km of roads.
