R+D Starvis® S 2100 F is a powder based rheology modifying construction additive with internal water storage. The salt insensitive superabsorbent agent (SISA) ensures internal curing and provides an improved workability, prolonged open time and an outstanding sag-resistance.

R+D Starvis® S 2100 F is used for non-sag dry mortars based on ordinary Portland cement (OPC), calcium aluminate cement (CAC) or calcium sulfo aluminate cement (CSA) containing binder systems (e.g. ternary systems) and gypsum based mortars. The particle size is optimized to provide freeze-thaw resistant properties and increases durability.

Fields of sag-resistant applications: ceramic tile adhesives (CTA), plasters, renders, exterior insulation finishing systems (EIFS), 3D printing and repair mortars.
