R+D HyCon R 6450 F

R+D HyCon® R 6450 F is a powder based retarding
construction additive for non-sag dry mortar products in CAC/CSA containing
binder systems (e.g. ternary systems). It selectively retards the hydration of
CAC/CSA with only little impact on the OPC reaction

General

R+D HyCon® R 6450 F is a powder based retarding construction additive. It is used for non-sag dry mortar products with calcium aluminate cement (CAC) or calcium sulfo aluminate cement (CSA) containing binder systems (e.g. ternary systems). R+D HyCon® R 6450 F selectively retards the hydration of CAC/CSA with only little impact on the OPC reaction. It is designed to reduce lithium carbonate, increase strength development, improve workability and open time and to enhance shelf-life.

Fields of sag-resistant applications: ceramic tile adhesives (CTA), tile grouts, repair mortars.
