Treated surface materials play a key role in the development and production of modern vehicle interiors. The automotive industry and its suppliers employ many different technologies in this production process. Thermolamination is the most-flexible and most-sophisticated procedure. Carrier materials made of bonded natural fiber or plastic – like ABS – are refined with the help of thermoplastic films in the form of PVC, TPO or other textile materials. Luphen® D DS 3548

Luphen® D DS 3548 is a 45% aqueous dispersion of a partly aromatic polyesterpolyurethane elastomer. The formed film can be activated by heat at 60-65 °C enabling the manufacture of heatsealing adhesives. Luphen® D DS 3548 has a prolonged hot-tack life.
