Film Adhesives

Pressure-sensitive adhesives must meet a variety of requirements, depending on the end-use of the graphic or protective film. From permanent to ultra-removable applications, adhesive solutions for graphic applications need to have excellent plasticizer and UV resistance. For the temporary protection of surfaces, it is essential that adhesive raw materials ensure easy peel off, residue free removal, and resistance to ageing.

Solutions for graphic and protective films

We offer a wide range of polymer dispersions for the pressure-sensitive adhesive coating of both graphic and protective films. Our BASF product range for the graphics industry includes primers that optimize surface properties of filmic labels and films as well as polymer dispersions that have been specially developed for use on soft PVC films. Furthermore, our Acronal® portfolio comprises state-of-the-art solutions for protective films. These pressure-sensitive adhesives are suitable for the temporary protection of various surfaces. Explore our solutions for film adhesives!
