Fog Seal

Fog-sealing is a cost-effective preventive maintenance measure. It involves applying a diluted emulsion to an asphalt surface to improve surface quality, reduce raveling and extend the life of the pavement. Polymer-modified fog seals are particularly effective in preventing chipping on open-graded friction courses and in reducing grit loss on existing grit seals.
