Cold-Mix Asphalt (CMA) and Bitumen Emulsions
Cold-mix asphalt, also known as cold-patch asphalt, is the simplest type of paving. It does not require heating to be produced and processed.
It is generally used to repair small cracks, potholes or patches. It is designed to last only a season or two before being replaced by a more permanent fix. Cold asphalt is available in bags that are suitable for small patches.
