Plasters and Renders

Plasters and renders are used to coat and finish interior and exterior surfaces. They should evidence characteristics like good adhesion, workability, and durability to ensure a long-lasting and visually appealing surface. They must also manage moisture effectively, resist weathering, and potentially provide fire resistance. In addition, they must consider environmental factors like sustainability and reduced emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

R+D VINAPOR AE 3914 F
R+D Vinapor® AE 3914 F is a powder based fully synthetic air-entraining construction additive. It is used for non-sag dry mortar applications. This additive introduces a moderate but highly stable amount of air, independent of the mixing time and method.
STARVIS SE 45 F
Starvis® SE 45 F is a powder based thickening construction additive for non-sag dry mortar products. It is designed to combine high sag-resistance, little retardation of the cement hydration, prolonged open times and remarkable workability.
R+D Vinapor WA 3810 F (V1)
R+D Vinapor® WA 3810 F is a versatile wetting agent for non-sag and flowable dry mortar applications e.g. plasters, renders, skim coats, masonry mortars, EIFS mortars and screeds.

Better workability and robustness

BASF’s wide range of additives helps solve challenges in plaster, render, putty, and skim-coat applications. Their benefits include improved workability, faster wetting, and increased robustness.

Our Vinapor® AE, Vinapor® WA and Starvis® SE brands for plasters and renders provide faster and easier mixing, better workability and excellent robustness. We also offer additives for EIFS/ETICS applications.
