Joncryl® OH 8300

General

Rheology controlled acrylic dispersion for thermoset water-based industrial metal and glass coatings. Thermosetting acrylic dispersion to be used for general metal or stoving enamels. Good alternative to water-reducible and solvent-based alkyd-melamine systems. Main applications are direct to metal (DTM), metal topcoats, and glass coatings; very short pot life in combination with free isocyanates.

Benefits

  • Good outdoor durability
  • Excellent adhesion to metals and glass
  • very short pot life in combination with free isocyanates
  • Excellent application properties (spray application and roller coat) due to unique rheology profile
  • Good mechanical properties
  • Very high gloss
  • For 1K thermosetting coatings, crosslinkable with melamine resins or blocked polyisocyanates
  • Thermosetting acrylic dispersion to be used for general metal or stoving enamels.
