Hydropalat® WE 3221

General

Hydropalat® WE 3221 is a silicone surfactant for water-based wood coatings. It enables exceptional reduction in surface tension of coatings, leads to improved adhesion on various substrates and keeps gloss level of formulations. It shows good destabilization of micro-foam with good compatibility for high clarity and no overcoat adhesion issues with undesired surface modification.

Benefits

  • Minor impact on inter coat adhesion and recoatability
  • No increase of surface slip
  • Excellent substrate wetting in aqueous industrial, wood, automotive and exterior paints, coatings and printing inks
  • Strong reduction of surface tension
  • Solvent-free
  • Silicone surfactant in dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether with strong reduction of surface tension in aqueous formulations
  • Excellent substrate and anti-crater additive with good recoatability
