Efka® PL 5520

General

EFKA® PL 5520 is a secondary plasticizer for lacquers, used predominantly in the manufacture of nitrocellulose wood lacquers. It improves the solvent release, the sanding and stacking properties, particularly of coatings which are force-dried in heating tunnels. It is generally used in combination with a primary plasticizer such as DOP or DBP and gives an improvement of the drying properties.
