Acronal® RCF 3706

Acrylic dispersions in PSA Labels must deal with the
challenges of a growing circular economy in the field of paper and cardboard
recycling. Acronal® RCF 3706 is a recycling friendly adhesive for
permanent paper labels with balanced properties.

General

While most of the adhesives used for paper
labels interfere with the paper recycling process, the newly developed Acronal®
RCF portfolio is easy to remove early in the process, making it possible to
reuse and print recycled paper or paperboard packaging without any further
issues. Acronal® RCF 3706 is a ready-to-use gravure acrylic
dispersion with a permanent adhesive profile for sheet PSA labels.  As
such it is the ideal complement of Acronal® RCF 3705, more suitable
for roll label lamination requirements. The German paper institute PTS (Papier
Technische Stiftung) certified that this label adhesive can be easily removed
from the recovered paper stream during recycling of paperboard packaging.
