General

Luphen® D
207 E is a 45% aqueous dispersion of a polyester polyurethane elastomer. The
formed film can be activated by heat at 65-70 °C enabling the manufacture of
heat-sealing adhesives. Luphen® D 207 E has a limited hot-tack life. With its
high green strength the Luphen® D 207 E is used in several applications e.g.
press lamination.Specially developed water-emulsifiable, polyfunctional
isocyanates such as Basonat® -types should be added to adhesives formulated
with Luphen® D 207 E to improve the heat resistance of the bond and its
resistance to hydrolysis.
