Interpack 2023: BASF and LEIPA cooperation for recyclable paper trays

In cooperation with LEIPA Group, a specialist for paper and packaging solutions based on recycling, BASF has developed a new offering for flexible packaging of fresh food. The new recyclable paper tray presented at 2023 can replace purely plastic-based materials in flexible packaging.

BASF contributed with Epotal®, BASF’s special range of adhesives for film-to-film lamination (our Epotal® FLX 3662) while LEIPA Flexibles offered paper trays made from LEIPAform, a deep and sealability.
